Description

Nos 25 to 27 on St Dunstan's Street are a 16th-century timber-framed house that has been extensively restored. The building has two storeys and features painted brickwork, although No 27 is rendered. It has an old tiled roof. No 25 includes a canted bay window that extends through both storeys and two simple cambered doorcases. No 26 has completely restored glazing, while No 27 has a gable front with one casement window. The building also contains two sash windows with intact glazing bars and later shopfronts. Nos 25 to 27 are recognized as a group of special architectural interest.
