Description

Westgate Cottage is a 16th-century timber-framed house with plastered frontages and an overhanging first floor. It is two storeys high with an attic. The first floor overhangs on a bressumer. The roof has a central, renewed brick stack and two hipped dormers. There is one window on each floor. Small bay windows have been built out below the overhang. There are two simple doorcases. Westgate Cottage, along with Nos. 51 to 66, forms a group.
