Description

This is a two-storey timber-framed building, originally shown as the London Assurance Offices, which was refaced in the 18th century. The front elevation is brick, stuccoed, with a weatherboarded gable end. It has an old tiled roof with three dormers. There are four restored casement windows. The ground floor features two early 19th-century shop fronts, complete with cornices and pilasters, and a four-panelled door. A carriage entrance on the left side reveals traces of the original timber-framing.
