Description
This is a 16th-century timber-framed house, significantly restored, located at 22 and 23 St Peter’s Street. The right side of the house features two storeys and a gable, with an old tiled roof and one casement window. A projecting bay is also present. The ground floor incorporates a good Georgian bow window with reeded pilasters. The left side of the building has an early 19th-century Neo-Classical pediment supported by plain Ionic columns, which incorporate the motto of Canterbury College of Art. The building is part of a group with numbers 19 to 27A.
