Description

The Tithe Barn, located to the southwest of Underdown House, dates from around 1500. It is faced with weatherboarding on a red brick base and features a thatched roof, which was once tiled. The roof has a projecting hip over the cart entrance on the east side; this hip is thatched, while the section around it remains tiled. The barn has large double doors. All the structures at Underdown House are considered to form a group.
