Description

Nos. 6 and 7 High Street is a house that has been extended to form three cottages. It dates from the 18th century, with late 19th century and minor 20th century rear extensions. The building features walls made of colourwashed brickwork in Flemish bond with blue headers, a plinth, cambered openings, and pilasters at each side of the original block, with some English bond above the Flemish bond. The roof is tiled, with a steep hip on the south side extension and gables at the rear. The east front elevation is two storeys high with three windows, and the slightly lower south side has a doorway. The windows are casements, and there are two boarded doors in plain frames. No. 6 has windows only on the south elevation.
