Description
The Priory House, originally the Old Estate Office and the Garden, is a building that served as stables for Southwick Hall and later as estate offices. It primarily dates from the 19th century. The west elevation features lower walls made of stone rubble sourced from the nearby Priory ruins, with brickwork above in English bond and rubbed flat arches, along with some alterations. The other three sides of the building are rendered. It has a hipped slate roof and is a rectangular two-storey structure with projecting east wings at each end. The east elevation is symmetrical, featuring a panel above the doorway flanked by windows above carriage openings that are now filled with inserted windows, designed in the form of Tudor arches. The south side extends by one window, and both wings have windows on the south side, which are sash windows. Additionally, there are two classical porches.
