Description

This is a 16th-century barn located 15 meters northwest of Old Stoke Lodge in Wonston. The barn is timber-framed and weatherboarded, although some sections have been replaced with concrete blocks. It features a roof covered in cedar shingles and has an aisled design with seven bays. The central bay has been altered on each side by the addition of large brick and concrete block porches, which include flat canopies and large double doors. Inside, the barn has a queen post strut roof that does not include an aisle tie. The interior is filled with 20th-century machinery and grain silos.
