Description
Michaels is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, originally built in the early 16th century and 17th century, with remodeling done in the 1930s. The structure features a timber frame with plaster and brick infill, a plain tile roof, and brick stacks. It consists of a three-bay 16th-century house with a parallel 17th-century range. The building is two stories high with a five-window range. On the left side of the right bay, there is a 1930s four-centre arch doorway with a plain timber hood. The windows are irregular 1930s metal designs with leaded lights. The roof is steeply pitched and half-hipped, featuring a large ridge stack located at the left of the center bay. The right end has two half-hipped gables with tile-hanging above brick. There is also a single-storey lean-to on the left end. The interior has been altered, but it still retains some 17th-century panelling, along with early 18th-century panelled doors and a staircase.
