Description

This barn, located 20 metres east of Harfield Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with seven bays and a central waggon entrance that projects outward. The structure has splayed struts supporting the purlins and angled braces connecting to the tie-beams. The walls are boarded above a brick lower section, and the roof is tiled, with half-hipped ends and a hipped section above the entrances. Additionally, there is a later two-bay aisle at the north-east corner.
