Description
A late 16th century house, originally three bays, and later divided into two cottages, now Durley Mill Farmhouse. It has undergone alterations, including 18th-century cladding. The timber frame is visible at the rear and upper part of the front, with brick infill – some in a herringbone pattern. Lower walls and other walls are of brickwork in a Flemish bond, with blue headers. There is a small area of stonework and a plinth. The roof is tiled. The south-east front elevation has two storeys and three windows above four windows, with an outshot at the west end. Casement windows are present, along with two plain doors; one is in the outshot and the other in the north-east gable.
