Description
High House is a house dating from the 17th century, with a substantial extension added in the early 20th century in the Arts and Crafts style. The building features an exposed timber frame in the upper part, with brick infill, while the lower walls are made of brickwork, and later walls are tile-hung above rubble stone bases. It has a hipped tile roof and hipped dormers. The original structure has been extended to create an L-shape, with the east front consisting of two storeys and an attic, featuring five windows. The windows are leaded oak casements, and there is a 20th-century half-glazed porch with a timber frame.
