Description
Swarraton Lodge is a private residence that dates from the early 19th century. The building features rustic flint nodules and a slated roof. It has two bays and is one and a half storeys high. The front facing the drive has an outshot roof supported by tree trunk columns, creating a verandah. The windows are two and three light leaded casements, and there is a stable-type door. The roof is hipped at one end and half hipped at the other, and it formerly had thatch. There is a dormer with a sloping roof and a two-light leaded casement. A large central flint ridge stack is present. Additionally, there is a 19th-century single-storey addition on the right end and a large dormer extension on the rear face of the roof.
