CHUTE UPPER CHUTE SU 25 SE 9/94 Vallance Cottage II

House. Early C19. Flint with brick dressings, slate roof replacing thatch. Two storeys, 3 bays, extended to left in mid C19 by further 2 bays. Central 6-panelled door within later wide rustic porch. Plat band. Twelve-paned sashes to ground floor, 16- paned to upper floor, all openings with brick dressings and gauged lintels. Buttresses near ends of elevation. Roof hipped and stacks to gable ends. Extension has central stable door and C20 timber windows with gauged lintels.
