Description
Tyler End is a house dating from the early 19th century, located on Church Road in Chepping Wycombe. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings, and the ground floor is partly roughcast with inset pebbles, while bonding timbers are visible at the first floor level. It features flat eaves and an old tile roof, with brick chimneys on either side. The house has two storeys and three bays.
The upper storey is adorned with leaded Gothick windows that have pointed arched heads and Y-tracery. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century bay window with wooden glazing bars and a lead roof to the left, alongside a four-pane sash window in an altered opening to the right. The central entrance features a 20th-century panelled door set in a recess, with pargetted reveals and a reeded wooden surround, topped by a small glazed lunette. At the rear, there is a 20th-century wing that has been raised, along with a single-storey extension at the right end.
