Description

Rays Yard is a house that was originally four cottages, built in the early to mid-19th century. It features a construction of flint with brick dressings and has hipped old tile roofs with brick chimneys. The building is arranged in an L-plan, with each wing containing a pair of double-fronted cottages, each slightly different in design. The structure is two storeys high and has dentil eaves. The windows are 20th-century leaded casements, with those on the ground floor having various segmental heads. There are also 20th-century half-glazed doors, some of which are in altered openings.
