Description

The White House is a house from the early 19th century, likely built on earlier foundations. It is constructed of rendered brick and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, arranged in an L-plan with a rear wing on the right side. The entrance is located between the first and second bays, directly opposite the main stack, featuring an open gabled porch and a six-panelled door. The windows are sixteen-paned sash windows set within deep reveals. A conservatory was added to the west side beyond the dining room in 1986, and there are various extensions at the rear of the house. The property also has a banded brick chimney stack.
