Description
The Stone House is a house built in the early 19th century, with a later extension added to the rear. It features a construction of flint pebbles and white brick with rusticated dressings, topped by a hipped slated roof. The building has two storeys and a basement, presenting a symmetrical facade with three windows. The windows are inset sashes with glazing bars and segmental arches. The entrance boasts a four-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed, and is framed by an architrave with corner squares and fluted pilasters. An open timber porch supported by slender fluted columns features a narrow frieze, a dentil cornice, and timber latticework on the sides. There is also an internal stack.
