Description
The Bell Inn is a public house that likely dates back to the 17th century, with later extensions. It features a timber-framed structure, a 19th-century colourwashed brick facade, and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and has a two-window range with mid-20th century casements. There is a 20th-century boarded door and two eyebrow dormers that contain 19th-century two-light casement windows. The inn has two gable end stacks. To the right, there is a single storey wing, and to the left, a two-storey wing, both from the 19th century, made of colourwashed brick with pantiled roofs. Inside, some original exposed beams and joists can be seen on the ground floor, along with additional timbering added around 1980.
