Description
These are two stable blocks dating from the mid-18th century, located 10 meters south of the Dolphin Inn in Hursley. They are constructed of brick and feature roofs made of old plain tiles and fish-scale tiles.
The first block, which is positioned end-on to the road, has four bays. It features double doors in the center bay, with additional doors in the end bays. The road-facing end bay includes casement windows, while the opposite end has a hay loft door. All openings have segmental heads, and the roof is half-hipped.
The second block is set back from the road and runs parallel to it, consisting of five bays. It has double doors in all bays except for the left center bay, which has a door and a casement window. There is a stack on the roof above this bay. This second block is included for its group value with the first block.
