Description
Green Hedges is a house that dates back to the early 19th century and was originally two separate dwellings. It is constructed from flint and brick, topped with a roof made of interlocking tiles. The building has a wide front facing east, featuring two storeys and four windows. The façade includes horizontal panels of flint that are interrupted by the window openings, with brick quoins, bands, and cambered heads. The upper floor has old metal-framed casements, while the ground floor features two metal casements and two wooden casements from the late 19th century. The main entrance is highlighted by a thin canopy supported by decorative wrought iron brackets, leading to a half-glazed door from around 1900. There is also a plain doorway with another half-glazed door. The end gables are made of flint, accented with brick quoins and fewer decorative bands.
