Description

Queenwood Cottages is a house that was originally a pair of cottages. It is constructed from rendered brick and features a slate roof. The building is two stories high and has six bays. The front of the house includes a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above it, all sheltered by a heavy, plain flat hood supported by Doric columns and pilasters. There are eleven 12-pane sash windows. The structure has chimney stacks at each end and a large stack in the center. This building is a surviving remnant of Robert Owen's Harmony Hall Settlement.
