Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries, and an earlier core. It is constructed of brick and has an old plain tile roof. The building has a plan of two storeys and an attic over a basement, with a three by three bay layout and a 19th-century wing at the rear.
The front of the house features a plinth and four stone steps leading up to a central six-panel half-glazed door, which is topped by a flat hood supported by carved brackets. On either side of the door are 19th-century four-pane sash windows with blind boxes and timber lintels. There is a string course at the first floor level, where three similar windows are located, with a narrow window in the centre. The eaves are flat, and the hipped roof has two-light casements in hip-roofed dormers on the outer bays. Large stacks are present on the end walls.
