Description
There are three Istrian seats located beside a wall that runs west from Mottisfont Abbey, possibly dating from the 17th century. Made of limestone, the seats are spaced 10 meters apart along the south side of a low flint wall, which is situated above a 20th-century annex at the western end of the house at basement level. Each bench features mythical beasts that support a stone slab seat, which has decorated edges.
