Description

This is an old barn with a later attached cartshed, located 50 yards south-west of the South Side Farmhouse. The barn dates from the 18th century, while the cartshed is from the mid-19th century. It features a timber-frame construction with four bays for the barn and three bays for the cartshed, along with a rear aisle. The barn has a tall roof supported by double-tiered Queen posts, covered with a hipped thatch roof, while the cartshed has a pantile roof. The walls are boarded.
