Description

Lower Farm Cottage is a house that dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and thatch and features a front elevation that is two storeys high with three windows. The roof is hipped, with a catslide at the rear. The walls are built in Flemish bond with blue headers, and the ground floor openings are cambered, with a former doorway that has been partially filled in to create a window. The cottage has casement windows, including one old small upper frame that has been filled in. The entrance is marked by a plain boarded door.
