Description

This is a barn with an attached cartshed, located 20 yards north of Manor Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. The barn features a timber frame consisting of five bays with aisles and a central entrance. It has a high collar between the upper purlins and struts extending from the tie-beam to the lower purlins. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos, and the walls are boarded. The cartshed is a narrower and lower timber-framed structure with six bays, also covered with a corrugated asbestos roof. Its walls are partly boarded, with an open front and garages for four bays. This building is included for its group value.
