Description

Yew Tree Cottage is an early 19th-century house situated at an angle to the road in Penton Grafton Clanville. It is constructed of flint panels with brick quoins and horizontal bands, and has rubbed flat arches. The south front is symmetrical, with two storeys and three windows. The windows are Victorian sash windows set in reveals. A half-glazed door is set within a wrought-iron trellis porch, which is covered by a concave metal hood. The roof is hipped and slate-covered. The group value of this building lies in its contribution to the streetscape.
