Description

Acre Cottage is a house that was originally a pair, and before that, part of a row of four. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building features flint walls with brick quoins, cambered arches, some decorative bands, and sections of brickwork, along with filled doorways. It has two storeys and four windows, with casement windows throughout. There is a shallow open porch supported by posts, topped with a gabled slate roof, and it has a boarded door.
