Description
Yonder Dene is a house built in the 18th century, with some alterations from the early 19th century. The building features a combination of rendered surfaces, flint, and brick, topped with a slate roof. The symmetrical front, facing south, has two storeys and three windows, with two-storeyed splayed bays on either side. The hipped roof is complemented by a plain wall with a plinth. The windows are Victorian sashes. The late 18th-century doorcase includes an open pediment supported by pilasters, an arched opening with a fanlight, and a six-panelled door. The east elevation showcases flint bands with brick quoins, cambered openings (some of which are filled), and casement windows. At the north side, there is a single-storeyed service wing that extends out, featuring a hipped slate roof, rendered walls, four casements, and two plain doors.
