Description
Manor Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick in header bond, featuring mainly blue headers with red brick dressings, and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a three-by-three bay layout, with a wing extending to the rear on the right side.
The front of the house includes a central five-panel door with flush lower panels and a two-light rectangular fanlight above. The doorcase is adorned with fluted pilasters and has solid brackets supporting heavy moulded hoods. On either side of the door, there are early 19th-century tripartite sash windows set within segmental heads. On the first floor, there are three 16-pane sash windows in segmental heads, which were originally designed for wider windows. The roof is hipped, featuring a central well and symmetrical stacks on the return ridges.
