Description

This is a barn, now used as a general service building, located west of Upton Farmhouse. It dates from the early 19th century and features a timber frame with five bays, along with a solid-walled extension at the east end that has two bays. The roof, added in the late 20th century, is tiled, with a half-hip at the west end and a hipped design at the east end. The walls are boarded, with the east side incorporating both brickwork in English Bond and flint with brick dressings. The barn was renovated in 1983 and is included for its group value.
