Description

Rushdown House is a late 18th century house constructed of flint and brick, topped with a thatched roof. The symmetrical front, facing south, features two storeys and three windows. The walls are designed with horizontal panels of flint, accented by brick intermediate bands, quoins, and cambered arches at the ground floor. The windows are casements, and there is a six-panelled door, with two top glazed panels, set within a plain opening, which is sheltered by a 20th-century curved canopy. There are also 20th-century additions at the rear and a garage located on the west side.
