Description
Upton Dean is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and tile and features a symmetrical front facing east, with two storeys and three windows. The north side of the house is extended by an additional two windows. The roof is hipped with brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, with a band at the first floor, rubbed flat arches over the ground floor windows, stone cills, and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals. The entrance has a doorcase with an open pediment supported by brackets, an arched opening with a radiating fanlight, and a six-panelled door.
