Description
Garden Cottage is a house that was originally a farm building, now functioning as a single residence. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure is built from flint and brick, topped with a combination of thatch and tile roofing.
The building has two storeys with three windows, along with a single storey and attic. The roof is hipped at the west end, while the eastern section features a lower tiled roof and a flat-roofed coupled dormer. The flintwork is designed in thin horizontal panels, accented with brick quoins, bands, and cambered arches on the ground floor. The windows include casements, one French door, and one sash window. The entrance features a plain doorway topped with a triangular hood supported by brackets.
