Description
Church Farmhouse is a house from the late 18th century, which may incorporate earlier structures. It is built of flint and stone, with brick detailing, brick quoins, and tile hanging on the first floor. The roof is tiled. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, arranged in a 2 x 2 bay layout. The original entrance was located centrally on the north front, but it is now accessed from the south side. The door features a refixed moulded door surround and a 20th-century pedimented canopy. The windows include sixteen-paned sashes and paned casement windows in the attic. There is a dormer and a four-flue stack with yellow clayware pots. Inside, there is a large central stack with an open fireplace, which is now concealed. A dairy, likely from the 19th century, has been added as a lean-to on the west side.
