Description
No 2 The Drive is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rendered cob on brick footings and features a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic, and has a central living bay with a stack located axially. There is an inner room behind the living bay, and the entrance is located in the north gable, leading to a narrow service room that is now enclosed in a porch. The door includes a glazed light. The cottage has 20th-century paned timber windows, with one flush dormer on the front and another on the rear. The roof is half hipped, and there is a brick stack with a pot. The cob walls connect to Cottage No 1 to the south and to No 3 to the north.
