Description
House. Built in the late 18th century, with a later 20th-century addition. The house is constructed of brick with a hipped tile roof. The south front, which faces the street, is symmetrical with two storeys and three windows in the centre. It features brick dentil eaves with blue headers in the hollows, red brick walls in Flemish bond with blue headers, cambered rubbed red brick arches to the ground floor, and a high plinth. The windows are cast-iron casements. The front door is a six-panelled door in a plain frame, with a moulded canopy supported by brackets, and four steps. The east and west walls incorporate thin horizontal flint panels. A late 20th-century wing of similar style is set back on the west side.
