Description

This building is a barn, now used as stables, located to the north of Upton Mill. It dates from the 18th century, and may be even older. The barn is timber framed and covered with weatherboarding, topped with a replacement tile roof. On the south side, there is a central gable featuring plank barn doors, and a large wing that projects to the left, all resting on a limestone plinth. The ends of the barn are gabled, while the north side is plain. The interior was not accessible during inspection. The barn is listed for its group value with the nearby structures.
