Description
Marsh Court Farm Cottage is a pair of semi-detached cottages built in the early 20th century by E L Lutyens. Constructed of brick with tile details, they feature an old plain tile roof. The cottages are one and a half stories high and consist of two bays, with a wing at the rear of each. The ends of the cottages face the road, with entrances at each end that have shell hoods, as well as entrances in the rear wings.
The garden front of the road-facing cottage has two four-light windows with brick mullions, tile heads, and leaded lights. In the inner bay, there is a first-floor dormer bay that sits on the roof, featuring a hipped roof and a similar four-light casement window. The far cottage has two two-light casements in each bay, with a central brick mullion and tile head, and similar windows in the first-floor bay. The roof is swept down, and there is a large ridge stack located between the bays of the cottages.
