Description
24 Bell Street is an 18th-century, two-storey building with a tiled roof that has a hip on the north side. The exterior is made of painted brick. On the first floor, there are two sash windows with architrave frames, which do not have glazing bars, and painted brick voussoirs. The ground floor features a 19th-century shop front with four lights, which may have originally had five lights, and includes a horizontal glazing bar. Above the shop front, there is an architrave frame with a fascia and a window blind holder. To the north of the shop front, there is a slatted entrance with similar casing above. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 20, 24 to 32, the Baptist Church, gate piers and flanking walls, and the Town Mill with No 3 Middlebridge Street.
