Description

13 and 15 Bell Street are buildings from the 18th to early 19th century with painted stucco fronts. Number 13 is two storeys high, while number 15 has two storeys and an attic, with a gable end facing the street. Number 13 features a slate roof and has one stack at the north end. On the first floor, there is one sash window set in a slightly segmental arch, four panes wide, with a stuccoed voussoir. The ground floor has a 19th-century shop front with three lights, framed by an architrave and flanked by reeded pilasters on the left. A doorway to the south is also flanked by similar pilasters, with a fascia and small hood spanning the front over both doors and the window. The door has flush panelled reveals, with the upper part glazed and a rectangular fanlight above.

Number 15 has a modern tile roof and features a small casement window in the attic with a pointed pane. On the first floor, there is one sash window with an architrave frame in a segmental arch, although the glazing bars are missing. The shop front has two lights, and the doorway to the north has a door with two panels, the upper part glazed, along with a rectangular fanlight above. There is a fascia and small hood over the doorway that connects with those on number 13.

Numbers 3 to 15 (odd) form a group.
