Description

This is an early 19th-century building on Bell Street. It is three storeys high and constructed of red brick, rising to a parapet with a stone capping. The upper floors each have two windows featuring sash windows set in shallow brick reveals, flat arches, rubbed brick voussoirs, and intact glazing bars. The ground floor retains its original central shop window and a stable-style door to the right. A six-panel door is located to the south-east. Both doors are set within panelled reveals and have rectangular fanlights above, framed by panelled pilasters, a plain frieze, and a moulded cornice. An advertisement is displayed on the front of the building. Numbers 3 to 15 (the odd numbers) are grouped together architecturally.
