Description

This is a group of three early 19th-century houses built as a terrace, numbered 3 to 7, on Harrage Park. The houses have slate roofs and stuccoed facades. A wide, bracketed eaves cornice runs along the top. The first floor of numbers 3 and 5 features five sash windows with glazing bars and dripmoulds. Numbers 3 to 7 have four ground-floor windows each. Number 5 has a front entrance porch supported by Doric columns, with a four-panel door and rectangular fanlight. Panelled reveals and a moulded architrave complete the doorway. Number 3 has a similar porch on its gable end, also with fluted Doric columns. A single window bay containing a window with a dripmould and a basement links the east end of number 5 with number 7. The first floor of number 7 has three sash windows with glazing bars, and two windows beneath three blocked openings with semi-circular heads. A band visually separates the ground and first floors. Number 7 also has a Doric entrance porch similar to the one at number 5.
