Description
This is a 17th-century building with early 19th-century additions, forming an irregular pair of houses on Chapel Lane. The houses have a timber-framed centre section and later extensions. They are two storeys high, with a four-window front. The roofs are tiled, with gables to the front and a catslide to the rear; No. 2 has brick dentil eaves. Large chimney breasts are located at the north end and to the rear. The timber frame is exposed in the central gable, but most of the walling is painted brickwork. The windows are casement type. The front doors are plain.
