Broomhill is a large timber-framed house dating from the 17th century and later. Much of the structure is visible on the inside, while the outside features brick-nogged walls with herring-bone patterns and plaster infilling on the ground floor. The roof is tiled, with both hipped and gabled sections. The house has modern casement windows and an old door. Inside, there is a significant exposure of beams and an inglenook fireplace.
