Description
This milestone, dating from the late 18th century, is located 200 meters southwest of Grimsdyke Granaries. It is made of painted stone and has a rectangular shape with a slightly pointed top. The rear face is chamfered. The front of the milestone is inscribed with the distances to Sarum, which is 7 miles away, and Blandford, which is 15 miles away.
