Description
Broadmoor Cottage is an early 17th-century lobby-entrance house that features late 19th-century cladding and an extension. The upper walls of the east and north gable elevations display exposed framing with painted brick infill, while the other walls are made of painted brickwork in English bond, complete with a plinth. The house has a hipped thatch roof with eyebrow dormers, and slate covering the rear wing. The east front elevation is 1½ storeys high and has three windows, which are modern casements. There is a 20th-century half-glazed gabled porch. At the south side, there is a single-storey rear wing. Inside, the framing is exposed, and there are large chimney breasts.
