Description

Calmore Cottage is a 17th-century house with a timber frame and some later cladding. The upper walls feature an exposed frame with painted brick infill, while the other walls are made of painted brickwork. The cottage has a thatched roof with eyebrow dormers and hipped ends, which extend above the outshots to lower eaves. The north-facing front elevation is wide, consisting of 16 storeys with three above five windows. The windows are casements, including several old leaded lights. There is a plain doorway located within a porch adorned with greenery.
