Description

Lavender Cottage is a 17th-century house that features a timber frame and painted brick with a plain tile roof. It has a large external stack on the east end and one stack on the ridge. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and it has three sloping dormers with leaded lights on the north side and one on the south side. On the ground floor of the south side, there are two casement windows and a projecting bay with a tiled roof, all fitted with leaded light windows. The east end has a timber-framed porch.
